Driving Offences on Highfield Road, Farnworth, Bolton

Good Afternoon Highfield Residents,

Since taking on the role as your dedicated Neighbourhood Officer for the Highfield area of Farnworth, I have become aware of your concerns regarding the manner in which vehicles are being driven along Highfield Road. Please be assured that this is an issue I am actively addressing.

During patrol yesterday (21/03/26), I observed a vehicle travelling at excessive speed on Highfield Road. I stopped the vehicle, and it was quickly established that the driver did not hold a valid driving licence and had no insurance. The individual has now been reported for the relevant offences.

In addition, I recently carried out a traffic operation in the area, which produced positive results. I intend to organise further operations in the near future to continue targeting road safety and addressing your concerns.
